The Awesome Power of Procrastination

*Trigger Warning: self-harm The power of procrastination is so awesome that even though I have been without Internet access for several hours and I have things that I think I want to do, I have spent that time lying on top of my bed thinking about how I would do all the things I want to do if I were to do them. The Mad Girl: Poetry Edition part 2

Youth Song

We are free
As we fight to learn,
We are free
As we run to dodge bullets,
We are free
As we are beaten in our cells,
We are free
As our little brothers and sisters die in our arms,
We are free
As we hear our parents mourn,
We are free
As we are raped and beaten,
We are free
When the colour of our skin counts against us,
We are free
As we watch our homes burn to the ground.
Children of Azania:
We are free
